📄Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Deployment: Lead the architecture, installation, and configuration of core routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure.
- Network Operations: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and maintain high availability across LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN networks.
- Cloud & Security: Integrate and manage network connectivity for cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and maintain network security policies, VPN access, and firewall rules.
- Troubleshooting: Act as an escalation point for Tier 3 network issues, performing deep-packet analysis and root-cause analysis for major incidents.
- Automation & Upgrades: Implement network automation scripts (using Python or Ansible) to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and patching.
- Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain up-to-date network diagrams, operational runbooks, and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking environments.
- Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Security), JNCIP, or PCNSE preferred.
- Core Skills:
- Deep proficiency with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, VXLAN).
- Strong knowledge of next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Firepower).
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Velocloud, or Silver Peak).
- Familiarity with cloud networking principles (AWS VPCs, DirectConnect, Azure ExpressRoute).
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
